What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When you access our websites or apps, information of a general nature is automatically recorded. This information is stored in the server log file and includes the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your Internet service provider, your IP address and the like. Should our apps crash, this will also be logged. This is for the following reasons:

Media
If you are a registered user and upload photos to these front systems, you should avoid uploading photos with an EXIF GPS location. Visitors to these frontline systems could download photos stored on these systems and extract their location information.
Contact forms
The data you enter will be stored for the purpose of individual communication with you. This requires you to provide a valid email address and your name. This is used to allocate the request and then to answer it. Providing further data is optional.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our website, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. This is a convenience feature so that when you write another comment you don't have to re-enter all of this data. These cookies are stored for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to our front-end systems, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
If you log in, we will set some cookies to save your login information and viewing options. Login cookies expire after two days and display options cookies after one year. If you select "Keep me signed in" when registering, your registration will be kept for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be deleted.
Embedded content from other websites
Posts on our front systems may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, Amazon Affiliate etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if the visitor had visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third party tracking services, and record your interaction with that embedded content, including your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to this website.
Use of Google Analytics
Our front-end systems use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA (hereinafter: "Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", i.e. text files which are stored on your computer and which enable an analysis of your use of the front-end systems. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the front systems is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Due to the activation of IP anonymization on websites, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of our front-end systems, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the front-end systems, to compile reports on page and screen activities and to provide the operator with other services related to system and internet use provide. The IP address transmitted by your client as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
The purpose of the data processing is to evaluate the use of the front systems and to compile reports on activities on the front systems. Based on this use, further related services are then to be provided.
How long we store your data
For users who register on our front systems, we additionally store the personal information they provide in their user profiles. All users can view, change or delete their own personal information at any time (the username cannot be changed). Website administrators can also view and edit this information.
Google AdWords
Our front systems use Google conversion tracking. The operator of the Google AdWords services is Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. If you came to our website via an ad placed by Google, Google Adwords will place a cookie on your computer. The conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on an ad served by Google.
If the user visits certain pages of our front-end systems and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. This means that cookies cannot be tracked via the websites of AdWords customers. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers find out the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information with which users can be personally identified.
Microsoft Clarity
This website uses the "Clarity" service from Microsoft Corporation. Among other things, Clarity uses cookies, which enable an analysis of the use of our website, as well as a so-called tracking code.
